Manila, the capital city of the Philippines, has been greatly overshadowed but as far as Forbes is concerned the city can become the next luxury hot spot. Recently, Forbes has released its latest Forbes Travel Guide, the result of expert inspections to bestow prestigious Star Ratings on properties all over the world.
According to report compiled by Forbes after several properties in Metro Manila were rated, the capital city of the Philippines holds promise because it has managed to maintain a position as a “glitzy gambling hub different from any other.” At present, Metro Manila is home to a couple of mega casino resorts – The City of Dreams and Solaire. Very soon, Okada Manila, another luxury gambling resort will be launched.
The gambling resorts of Manila easily rival those of Singapore and Macau because besides gaming and entertainment, the resorts also offer fine dining and luxury experiences. According to Rajesh Jhingon, the senior vice president of Solaire Resort & Casino resort operations, the mega casino resort was built with extreme attention to details from its interiors to facilities to change the usual way that people view destination resorts in Metro Manila. Solaire hosts a good number of sold-out productions at its impressive 1,740-seats theatre.
Meanwhile, the City of Dreams is home to Center Play, a theatre stage that offers live performances right in the middle of the casino. The City of Dreams also offers DreamPlay for children to enjoy an interactive experience.
Two Manila properties were granted by Forbes with 5-star rating for 2017 – the Sky Tower at Solaire Resort and Casino and the Marco Polo Ortigas Manila. 4-star ratings were given to Hyatt City of Dreams Manila, Fairmont Makati, Raffles Makati and Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila. Forbes has also recommended Pan Pacific Manila and Makati Shangri-la Manila.
Southeast Asia is indeed the best place to visit because of the warmth of the people and their fluency in English. From Manila, you can travel to Thailand and enjoy exceptional service at mountain view resort in Phuket. Aside from the luxurious rooms and suites, you can relax and de-stress at its luxury spa and fitness centre.
